After last week’s epic ending, it was no surprise that this week’s Game of Thrones felt a bit slow and more of a set up episode for the rest of the season. Here we go:

-Lord Baelish is back! He is one of the most underhanded person on this show so it’s no surprise that he was involved with the murder of Joffrey. He’s whisking Sansa away to goodness knows where. Sidenote: I’m so proud Sansa for getting her wits about her and leaving with haste.

-Also seemingly involved in the foolishness was the Queen of Thorns who tries to counsel Margery, who’s feeling like a Black Widow, considering two of her husbands have died/been murdered. I cackled something serious when she said that the Lannisters still needed them and “The next one should be easier” LMAO ma’am.

-Speaking of the next one, Tommen is the king now and Tywin Lannister gave that boy a speech for the gawds. I loved how he was firm but understanding that he wants to have Tommen grow up to be a good king. Also he shaded the entire fuck out Joffrey who was resting on his death bed.

-That conversation WOULD have been the biggest thing that happened in that room were it not for the fact that Jamie raped Cersei right next to their dead son/brother/nephew after Cersei told him to kill Tyrion. Now I have asked several book readers about this scene and they’ve told me that he didn’t rape her in the books (in fact it was apparently a love scene), so this choice becomes incredibly confusing. Whyyyyyyyyyyyy would they do this to Jamie after they had an entire fucking season of a redemption arc? And y’all know I am not here for Cersei but wtf would they do that to the character? It just was incredibly out of character and really cast a pall on the episode.

-Arya and the Hound are my BrOTP and I get so happy when I see them together on screen. I died when they were sitting at that table, slurping that food down. It was sad to see the Hound steal that money from the people who offered them sanctuary but he’s teaching Arya how cruel the world is. Although he didn’t have to say “How many Starks do they have to behead before you figure it out?” my heart ;_;

-I love when Ser Davos be getting Stannis Baratheon the fuck together, cause Stannis acts like a stick in the mud sometimes.

-Oberyn Martell kills me every damn week. Do these writers and actors know what this character does to me???? Like WHYYYYYYYYY did you have to have him and Ellaria in a 5 way and then have him talk to the guy he was making out with that the reason he sleeps with men and women is cause “everyone is missing half the world’s pleasure” by not doing it. JESUS THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING ON EASTER SUNDAY! MY. LOINS. CAN’T. TAKE. THIS! ugh I love Oberyn.

-Those sexy times were nothing compared to that showdown with Tywin and Oberyn. I loved how both men spoke plainly and in inuedo at the same damn time. Tywin was subtly letting Oberyn know that he needed Dorne in the fold and Oberyn was watching the puzzle pieces fit together. I loved how Twyin commented about Dany.

-Podrick is the most ride or die squire ever and I almost teared up at him and Tyrion having to part ways. #freeTyrion

-The Thenns gotta be the first Wildlings to die.

-Poor castle black. They got like 20 Nights Watch soldiers left to fend against the Wildling invasion. Also I’m so tired of Samwell Tarley and this girl with a baby he’s taken a liking to. So tired.

-Daario panty dropper, or at least that’s what he’ll be after that awesome way he dispatched that champion from Mereen. I mean he killed that horse and the dude in like two moves! wowowow

-Having Danerys throw those shackles at the people of Mereen was an inspired choice. Also inspired are those drums that beat during her big moments.
