Well everyone, the Oscars are finally over and with it most of the discussions about the film year of 2014. I don’t know about you all, but I am so tired from this awards season and the beginning of 2015 that I need a palate cleanser. Enter in the year 1979!
I have decided that I am going to dive into a film year I am unfamiliar with/want to know more about and randomly 1979 popped into my head and so here we are. I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised it was 1979 that came to mind as 3 of my all time favorite films of all time (Alien, All That Jazz, and Apocalypse Now) were released that year. So I’m excited to dig back into it. I’m going to have a mixture of reviews, journal type entires, and maybe a podcast or two about the films of the year. Check out my slate:
