I cannot believe that the year is half over. Time has flown by so damn quickly. Taking stock of the landscape of movies and it has been a bit of an uneven year. Granted I haven’t seen some of the big players, but were it not for LA Film Festival this year would seem super dreadful. It wasn’t hard to pick many of these winners though, as the year has had some clear standouts in many areas. So here’s my choices for the best of the year so far.
