I’m currently in NYC for the weekend and have a crazy deadline for a new project so this supersized version of this will have to tide you over for a while.

This letter from a former Warner Bros employee to its CEO is brilliant.

A letterbox user Holly-Beth has compiled a list of historical films in chronological order. It’s an eclectic list although I did have a good laugh at the Land Before Time movie making it on here. Childhood fave that one.

Colton Haynes also gave a great interview to Out.com about his career, coming out, and relationships. I love that he’s still mad at Noah Galvin, his petty hasn’t settled down and I am here for it.

In gay and Olympic news, I’m sure by now you have heard about the fucking awful article at the Daily Beast, that I won’t be linking to an encourage you not to read, where a straight white male writer who is married with kids, pretended to be gay and downloaded Grindr and proceeded to talk about the Olympic athletes who hit him up while in Rio. And by talk about I mean out. Slate has a great piece about why it was so awful. Let’s say the athletes whom he outed end up imprisioned or worse killed, I hope those fucking clicks were worth it.

In much more positive Olympic news, the New York Times has an awesome article where you can try and guess the athlete’s Olympic sport via their body type. The easiest one is Jake Dalton.

Michael Phelps is a beast (21 gold medals and counting!) and SI did an incredible piece talking about how his body has changed over the years. Also he just broke a 2168 year old Olympic record.

SPOILERS FOR THE CURSED CHILD

DON’T GO FURTHER IF YOU HAVEN’T READ/DON’T WANT TO BE SPOILED

I’M WARNING YOU!

Alright, I talked about this on the latest edition of the podcast, but I think I will forever be madt at how Albus and Scorpius ended up in Cursed Child. Luckily I’m not the only one as Hypable has a really great longform piece about why it was such a missed opportunity.
