One of the rare things in movie history is about to happen, a gay film gets a wide release. This weekend sees Love, Simon, based on the book Simon vs. The Homosapiens Agenda, premiere and a lot has been made of the fact that it’s the first major studio release with a gay love story at the center. Kudos for Fox for making this and fie to the rest of them for not doing so. In honor of that movie I thought it might be fun to make a list of ten gay films you should check out once you’ve seen the movie. Having not seen Love, Simon yet (I did read the book though), I am fascinated by what I’ve heard of the film and wonder if it will be able to live up to some of the films on this list.
