We’re nearing the end of my 2018 year in review! Today is one of four film updates that you will get and it’s all about special and genre film awards. I like giving out special awards as a way to get a better handle on the film year than traditional categories and it’s also a fun way to award people and films that might miss out. This will also give you an idea of what I put on my LAOFCS ballot for our genre categories. Next up is my top 10 films on Monday, my Oscar ballot on Wednesday, and my favorite film scenes next Friday. You can see last year’s choices HERE.
