Looking Recap Episode 2.05 “Looking for Truth”

Have you ever had your heart taken to the highest highs and lowest lows in 30 mins? If so, you probably watch Looking tonight which was just…

Augustin

There were only two characters on Looking tonight, one of which was Augustin. We knew Augustin was feeling Eddie a lot and even the kids at the shelter know it. It was cute to see him bring Eddie soup and hilarious to see that Eddie wasn’t actually sick, instead playing hookie. The duo ate soup with ballsand chatted about things like how Eddie got HIV from being the courtesy bottom in a sling when he was doing meth from a boyfriend who lied about being positive and has been for 3 years at least. The duo then danced to disco and Augustin kissed Eddie! O_O Chile this was a mess. Then Eddie played him but eventually reciprocated which was…actually surprising to be honest.

Kevin

I decided to make a special spot for him cause Kevin actually did some stuff this week. So apparently the folks in that office do actual work instead of just being cheaters but the game they’ve been working on has sold 15 million units. Kevin sees Patrick and gets all weepy eyed and tells him that he hasn’t slept. To which Patrick replied “You don’t need me for anything anymore do you?” OOP! Patrick proceeded to dress Kevin down.

Later in this episode, Kevin invites Jonathan over to the office to hang out. Now this wouldn’t be a big deal except for, this was Jonathan’s first trip to the office. Kevin, how has your long time boyfriend not seen your office?! what kind of raggedy foolery…

Patrick

You guys…I don’t even know if I have the heart to really dig into Patrick and Richie cause…I just…I’m just gonna do some bullet point highlights with photos to illustrate my struggle

-When Patrick and Richie first started on the trek to get the truck and Richie said do you remember this ice cream place

Screen Shot 2015-02-15 at 9.31.20 PM

-Patrick and Richie talking about his boo Brady: “I wouldn’t say we were dating” bitch don’t give my shipper heart hope! #looking,

-Richie then crunched my heart by saying this time he was not gonna jump the gun. its in the past richie you don’t have to keep doing this

-this moment compounded the fact that Richie said he didn’t like Patrick being in that situation with Kevin but trying to play coy

giphy

–Meeting Ceci was THE BEST. I love her and Looking should bring her back. Whether she was calling Patrick a puta or making fun of the people Richie dated or giving us the story about how Richie borrowed $200 for the suit [cries in Patrick/Richie shipper] it was great

-That frosty ass conversation with Hector…this rang so true to me cause when I go back to the Bay (I’m from the East Bay) I hate to run into folks I didn’t care for/don’t like. Richie was channeling me in this moment.

-How cute were Patrick and RIchie playing with the hose and the suds. Ugh I hate them.

-Patrick talking with Richie about his father and calling him stubborn had me like

-But the big moment of the episode was when Patrick decided to apologize to Richie. Now at first I thought this was a dreadful idea, given that It would make me have to relive all the pain and anguish being a Richie-Patrick shipper, particularly when they brough up the stuff that happened in episode 8 of last season. Then like a person in love a person who has forgiven, Richie tells Patrick that what happened was in the past and that even tho he is the worst that
