Los Angeles Film Festival: My Most Anticipated Films

One of the most underrated film festivals out there is the Los Angeles Film Festival. Always boasting a unique mix of indie films and bigger pictures, the festival, put on by Film Independent, has a really fun spirit. This year’s festival sees the group pushing further into the realm of digital space, while also making

If you follow any of my social media in the past year, you know that I stan for Adam Silvera, after his book More Happy Than Not devastated and wowed me last year to the tune of being my #1 book of the year. I have mentioned several times how excited I would be to meet

Y’All West: Interview with Jason Reynolds

After conducting this interview, I have determined that Jason Reynolds is not as crazy as his bio would lead you to believe. WonderCon 2016: Preacher

I have to admit that as a hardcore DC Comics fan; I knew very little about DC’s imprint Vertigo and the Preacher TV adaptation coming to the AMC network. A very excited crowd and I were in for a treat when we saw the premiere screen at the 2016 WonderCon. The show definitely has a light-hearted dark and grittiness to it that fits in with the AMC’s brand of shows like Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. So whether you were initiated or not into Vertigo’s more graphic form of content, you’ll definitely find something you love about this show and it’s characters.
