If you happen to listen to the Awards Circuit Power Hour or read that site, you know there’s been quite a discussion regarding determining what a musical is. I attempted to comment on the podcast and I just want to make sure that I could have my ideas somewhere they could be read in full
2013 has been a surprisingly great year for a variety of things, especially in music. So much great music to listen to from a variety of genres has graced our ears and enabled the year to go by quickly. Anyways, it was really difficult to make this list of the top 10 albums of 2013 because of the wealth of music I had to choose from. But preservere I must, so here’s my list of the top 10 albums of 2013!
The Oscar race is certainly in for a jolt now. With the arrival of The Wolf of Wall Street, we could be in for an even more exciting awards season as things begin heating up. There’s not a lot of movement in the predictions but some heavy observations that could be made. Let’s dig in!
Man the past week and change has certainly been a blur. Covering AFI Fest has been both a blessing and a curse but I am glad to have had the chance to see movies I would have otherwise missed. Now that the festival is over, I can reclaim a bit of my life. Before I do that wholesale, I figured I’d do a wrap up post with links to my reviews as well as my awards for the fest. Check it out!
