Man it seems like forever and a day since Lady Gaga gave us some new music. But thankfully a leak of her new song “Burqa” has arrived online to give us a preview for her up coming album ARTPOP. It’s just a demo, and does have a bit of an unfinished quality but it seems like the next step sonically from her last album Born This Way. Check out Lady Gaga’s new song!
Sometimes you hear songs that give you everything you need but didn’t know you wanted. One such song is the new track Jason Derulo and 2 Chainz released today called “Talk Dirty”. I love Uncle 2 Chainz and am so glad he partnered with Derulo on this incredibly sexy track with a hot beat. My only qualm is that the song is too short, but damn does it pack a wallop.
Fiona Apple has been gone too long from our consciousness but thankfully in the past year she’s come back with some good music. Her new song “Hot Knife” has arrived and the video just released and good grief is it hot fire. From the drums to the hummable lyrics, it’s such a good song. Check it out!

I love me some Azealia Banks and she continuously rewards me with fantastic music. She has teamed with Pharrell for her new song “ATM Jam” and man is it some hot fire. The beat is twerk worthy, they sound great on the track and it feels like a great summer song. Check it out!
Words cannot express how much I love The Civil Wars. Ever since they burst onto the scene with the wonderful pseudo Negro spiritual (in my mind)/morality tale Barton Hollow, I have been a moth draw to their flame. I own every album, including the unplugged session, so you know I was excited when they released their new track “The One That Got Away.” it is a quintessential Civil Wars song, from the beautiful orchestrations, stunning vocals and haunting lyrics.
