This post signifies the start of my 2014 film awards! While the other day I lamented stuff I had to exclude this post is all about celebration, or in the case of my worst films of the year list, derision. Since I am a writer/podcast producer at Awards Circuit, the following choices will represent part 1 of the ballot I will turn in, so you can’t blame me if the choices turn out boring lol jk. Anyways, here’s my special film awards.
There probably won’t be a film to hit in September that will be more entertaining than The Maze Runner.
Though many of us in Los Angeles are roasting in the heat, the movie world seems to be on the verge of diving into the fall season. However, the folks at 20th Century Fox are hoping that moviegoers will still feel as if it’s summer movie season and turn out in droves for their new YA franchise, The Maze Runner. Does this property have what it takes to become a smash hit?

Look at our Dylan O’Brien all grown up trying to be a movie star! The first photos from the anticipated adapatation of The Maze Runner have arrived giving our first glimpse at the characters, the Glade and the walls of the maze. Though Dylan looks about 25 (I think the character is supposed to be 16) these photos are still pretty cool.
