Teen Wolf Recap 3.08 “Visionary”

The other half of this episode was dedicated to Hexxus himself, Gerard Argent, telling Scott and Allison about Deucalion. If you thought uncle Peter was an unreliable narrator chile Gerard was terrible.

You remember how I mentioned baby!Derek and his boo were playing tonsil hockey in a distillery? Well it turns out that a big meeting was being held there between Duke, Kali and Ennis’ pack after that beta caught an arrow in the throat. Turns out it was Ennis’ and he’s hellbent on revenge but they decide to seek the council of a wise wolf, one who can actually turn into a wolf aka TALIA FUCKING HALE. Bitch I ran around this apartment for a good 5 minutes shouting yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssss when she ran up there like a G in wolf form, shifted back human (naked) and got someone to place a robe on here. That was the most boss entrance and I am instantly sad that she died in that fire. ANyways, Duke asks wise Talia about what they should do. Seems like Duke was a much gentler, peaceful fellow back in the day, although he did have a rambunctious beta in Marco.

Talia decides she needs another voice so she turns to Deaton who is a Druid emissary! Mini history lesson: Lycaon was turned into a wolf by Zeus and turned to druids to help them maintain their human side. Deaton says that Deucalion should be prepared and try to meet Gerard in a neutral place, the distillery. Gerard, being the evil fucking henchman that he is, turns on some gas that disables members of Deucalion’s pack before clubbing several of them with an insane bat with spikes. Deucalion manages to make it out alive but doesn’t get far. He tells Gerard there could be peace, but Gerard is a sadistic asshole and  STABS DEUCALION IN THE EYES WITH SPARKLER ARROWS. MY GOD. This was an insane twist in how Deucalion got blinded and I am totally here for it.

Loved this episode. You know I am never here for Derek (who I guess has been making terrible choices always), but I am 100% on #teamBabyDerek. Love him. Love “Paige”. Quotation marks because I am 99.9999% sure Ms. Blake is Paige. Or she’s her sister or reincarnated something.

Poor Ian Nelson, always running away from people with cross bows.

GERARD IS EVERYTHING. Stabbing out eyes and shit. Yes! Although it occurred to me in this episode that both the season 1 big bad and the season 2 big bad are just kind of … around still. Like, our heroes aren’t really getting stuff done.

I forgot the eye color stuff was a thing.

This has nothing to do with episode, but have you watched this week’s after show?! JR Bourne is putting the discussion about who the King Daddy on Teen Wolf is to BED.

I am watching the after show right now and LOL at the JR comment

I really enjoyed baby!Derek as well and you forgot about eye color?! That was like THE thing the fandom was concerned about…now it’ll be age of the wolves

And your thoughts on the big bads is interesting. They sort of had a throw away line last week about the currents under the town, makes you wonder how much of a hot bed Beacon Hills is for the supernatural

I am not really a mythology person. I am in it for crazy moments like Gerard stabbing out people’s eyes with arrows. The eye color or true Alpha stuff or whatever I could take or leave.

I am so glad I’m not the only one on the sugar daddy thing with Stiles and Peter!!! Ever since he offered him the bite..LAWD have mercy! My life would be MADE if they got together. I love Peter so much! He lied this whole episode, but it just showed how much he hasn’t changed. You can always count on him to be lying about one thing or another. For the most part he keeps it his own special brand of 100. I do like that Cora and Stiles are kinda sorta friends. It seemed kind of random at first, but I can dig it. Scott went thug on Gerard real fast! I was surprised, but I hope we get to see some more of that boss hawg aggressiveness! I do not care for ms. teacher at all. She seems super sketch to me, and I don’t know how I feel about the fact that she just happened to show up when stuff started going down. I don’t trust her, and I want her gone.
