Game of Thrones Recap 4.05 “First of His Name” and 4.06 “The Laws of Gods and Men”
Terence Johnson May 11, 2014 ArticleSo I missed last week’s recap so I’m gonna add some thoughts that I had about last week’s episode of Game of Thrones to today’s recap.
4.05 “First of His Name”
-Lena Headley acted her ass off in this episode. I was never quite sure with Cersei whether he interactions with the various characters was sincere or more manipulation of the people who are judges in her brother’s trial.
-I have rape fatigue with this show. Like I am done with rape and almost rape on Game of Thrones. When Karl Tanner strolled up to Jojen’s sister, I thought I was going to have to change the channel. WHY does this show keep going to the rape well? Is there nothing else to make people seem evil or harm others????
-Bran warning into Hodor and killing Locke was one of the show’s greatest moments and I can’t wait to see how they deal with this or push it forward…cause its the only interesting thing about Bran’s storyline. *sips tea*
-Sansa is gonna have to step up her game up being in the Erye cause her aunt is one crazy bitch and Lord Baelish is the most Machavellian person I’ve ever seen on TV.
-Speaking of, LORD BAELISH KILLED JOHN ARRYN AND HAD LYSA SEND CAT THAT LETTER YOU BITCH ASS MOTHER FUCKING ASSHOLES ARE THE REASON ALL THIS SHIT WENT DOWN!
4.06 “The Laws of Gods and Men”
-I so thoroughly enjoyed the trip to the Iron Bank of Bravos. That shade fest disguised as politicking with Stannis, Davos and the leaders of the bank. More enjoyable though was Ser Davos giving them hoes a piece of his mind about why Stannis should be on a throne. That man is ride or die.
-Khaleesi got hit with the biggest WELP when the son of one of the men she ordered to die cam and told her that her father was actually against what the noblemen had done. Also, ol girl is letting her dragons just wild out and steal sheep…that can’t have a happy ending.
-Everything relating to Theon just depresses me. Asha finally managed to get to where Theon was and this dude is just broken to the point he called for Ramses. And then this bitch just left! Ma’am you came all this way and don’t want to put Theon back together again?? For why? And then to make matters worse Ramses is tryna get him to play Theon and I just….
-Did any of y’all howl as loud as I did during that small council meeting? Lord Varys (hay buddy!) was basically reading Cersei for filth about letting Bariston Selmi (sp?) go. But nothing made me laugh harder than when Tywin told Papa Tyrell to fetch him some paper. Papa Tyrell ain’t nothing more than a lap dog to him.
-There is so much to talk about regarding Tyrion’s trial. But for all of the slandering of his character the one person I have to address is Shae. LISTEN YOU RAGGEDY TWO FACED TRIFLING HOE ASS BITCH I HOPE YOU DIE A GRISLY ASS DEATH YOU PUNK UNLOYAL DUMB BASIC BITCH ASS WHORE! HOW DARE YOU TURN ON TYRION WHEN HE WAS TRYNA PROTECT YOUR UNGRATEFUL SLUT LOOSE PUSSY LIPPED NO GOOD ASS!! YOU KNOW WHAT HE WAS TRYING TO DO TO KEEP YOU SAFE ALL THIS TIME AND NOW YOU WANNA TATTLE CAUSE YOUR FEELINGS ARE HURT?! BITCH GO JUMP OFF A FUCKING BUILDING OR DIE IN SOME DRAGON FIRE YOU ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST YOU HORRENDOUS BITCH!
*TAKES DEEP BREATH*
-Peter Dinklage just wrapped up an Emmy nomination with this episode. He delivered a Sinners in the Hands of An Angry God-esque rebuke of everyone ever. He said I am tahd of y’all always trying me and I should have let Stannis Baratheon come and kill you all. He also told Cersei that her bastard son dying gave him relief. Oh, and he wants a trial by combat. Chileeeeeeeeeee……
