This week on Girls, Hannah supports Marnie by going with her and Desi on a trip. But things take drastic turn, when a secret is discovered. Meanwhile, Shosh invites Elijah to a networking mixer for women and Jessa winds up tagging along.

Having made up in the past episode, Marnie (Allison Williams) and Desi (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) are doing the deed and she is saying that she is disgusting for what she’s currently doing with Desi. He’s trying to convince her she isn’t doing anything wrong and can Desi just be quiet for once? I truly cannot deal with this character. Hannah (Lena Dunham) is telling Elijah (Andrew Rannells) about Marnie sleeping with Desi and that Ray is clueless. Elijah tells Hannah that while she’s away he will be attending an event with Shosh. Marnie and Desi have arrived to pick up Hannah, they are going to Poughkeepsie and let the fun begin (we know it won’t be).

Shosh (Zosia Mamet) and Jessa (Jemima Kirke) are making a video birthday message to their grandma. Though after they are done…Shosh closes the laptop and tells Jessa she will not be sending the message. She tells Jessa she needs to go since she has plans with Elijah. Jessa curious wants to know where they are going.

Arriving to their destination, Hannah is not a happy camper. Marnie tells her she is acting like a total bitch and why did she come if she didn’t want to…Hannah replies that she came to protect them and support her. Hannah walks into this shop and meets an eccentric shopkeeper…who tells Hannah a story about not becoming a model. Outside Marnie and Desi are doing what else, but arguing and then kissing and making up (gags).

Shosh and Elijah are on an elevator heading to the networking mixer and she tells him she’s nervous about seeing ex-friends, who now run a business and how they drifted apart because of Jessa. Speak of the devil as Jessa joins them and both Shosh and Elijah are not pleased to see her there. Elijah catching the eye of someone working the event leaves both of the girls to fend for themselves.

Marnie is feeling guilty about what she is doing to Ray (you should) and she finds a mason jar full of white pills. Desi notices and tells her why is she looking through his stuff. Marnie wants to know what they are and Desi keeps telling her they’re mints. She doesn’t believe him and Desi snaps telling her those “mints” are oxycontin and that he’s been taking them for a year. Marnie furious realizes that he was high the day of their wedding breaks the jar and starts stomping on all the pills. At this point Desi is completely acting off the rails and Marnie yells at Hannah to help her and she comes running and both grab Desi and take him outside. Desi punches and breaks the window. Marnie is crying on the floor trying to figure out why these things keep happening to her.

Shosh approaches her former friends trying to reconnect, but is cut short. Rachel and Zeva tell Shosh she cannot be trusted to re-enter their lives after she bailed on them two years ago. Shosh leaves the mixer and Elijah finally joins the girls outside. Shosh upset tells Jessa how all of this is her fault and that she ruined everything. Jessa tells her to grow up and leaves.

Hannah and Marnie are leaving, while Hannah goes over to Desi and wraps the cut in his hand and walks him over to the car and pushes him inside. He starts talking and both Hannah and Marnie tell him to shut up (thank you!).
