Top 10 Books I Read in 2015

The 2015 Year in Review continues with my top 10 books I read in 2015 list.

Le Noir Auteur Reads #3: The Bone Clocks, More Happy Than Not, Area X: The Southern Reach Trilogy

I didn’t really plan that the week after I went to Comic-Con that I would be doing a post on books that either were fantasy/horror/comic book related and yet here we are. This is maybe the most interesting collection of books I’ve had so far, with one being a contender for my all time favorite

Le Noir Auteur Reads #2: Magonia, Directing Actors, A Darker Shade of Magic

Hello All! Here’s a new installment of LeNoirAuteur Reads where we tackle books with two magical worlds and try to unlock the magic that is acting.

Le Noir Auteur Reads #1: On Earth As It Is In Heaven, The Circle, Independent Ed

New series alert! As many of you know, I started a summer internship at an awesome place and as such my commute has me taking three trains to get to work. I feel like this is the closest I’ll get to being a New Yorker living in LA. Anyways, being on those trains has allowed

Wayback Wednesday: Books I Read in 2014

One of the casualties of me having an insane schedule the last year was the fact that I had no time to read any books. This is something I plan on rectifying this year, and for my first Wayback Wednesday I thought I’d get you all along on the ride. I am currently reading A Brief History of Seven Killings and finding it a fascinating sprawling character piece. But what of the books I finished? Well here’s a selection of books you should check out.

The Must List of Queer Cinema, TV, and Books

I recently got a tumblr ask about what my favorite gay books/movies were and I’d figured I’d share the results here. I decided to retile the post queer to encompass more groups btw. As I was crafting the answer for this, it struck me just how much of this content I didn’t see/read till I was well into college. I mean with the exception of three of those books and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, I hadn’t experience ANY of this till I turned 18, which is crazy. I’ve made up for much of that time lost as you can see below, even though I have a long way to go. Anyways, here’s some stuff for you all to check out with what’s left of your summer. Anything I should add to the list?
