Can you feel it? AFI Fest is just around the corner, this Thursday to be exact and I am super excited to attend the festival on behalf of AwardsCircuit.com. Seeing as how we just did a staff wide top 10 film list, I figure I should release my personal choices for the 10 films I most want to see at the festival. Check it out!
Though I love summer, it must be said that this year, summer felt like it was a million years long, with the films falling off in quality precipitously the longer the summer went on. Which is why I am happy that the fall movie season is upon us and if word out of Telluride is anything to go by, this is shaping up to be a doozy. So I decided to take a gander at the fall film slate and see what excited me. So without further ado, here all the fall films I’m most excited for and the empirical reasons why.
Well y’all, Teen Wolf 3A ended on Monday and I’m still trying to take the season in. Seems like just yesterday we were all freaking out about the first promo, whether Jennifer had seen an animal attack before or any number of the episodes. I have had a blast covering the show but good God am I ready for a break. To celebrate making it through the season and preparing for the break, here are 10 things I can do now that the first half of the season is over.
So by now I’m sure that most of you readers know that today will be my last day of real world grown people work as I am headed to the sunny West Coast to attend grad school. It’s a big life decision but I’m looking forward to it. There will be a much more fluid, pensive post about the situation but for now, let’s go out with some well thought out fun and foolery!
