This week on Girls, felt like we were watching a short film…of a woman who doesn’t know what has happened in her life and how did everything go so wrong…and how did it all lead up to this. This episode focused solely on Marnie, who we haven’t really seen much of this season apart of the wedding episode and for a couple of minutes here and there halfway through this season. Tonight we saw a familiar face from Marnie’s past and we went along on this wild adventure of this character trying to find herself, so let’s begin!
I have to admit that as a hardcore DC Comics fan; I knew very little about DC’s imprint Vertigo and the Preacher TV adaptation coming to the AMC network. A very excited crowd and I were in for a treat when we saw the premiere screen at the 2016 WonderCon. The show definitely has a light-hearted dark and grittiness to it that fits in with the AMC’s brand of shows like Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. So whether you were initiated or not into Vertigo’s more graphic form of content, you’ll definitely find something you love about this show and it’s characters.
Hey everyone! Terence reporting from WonderCon and today has been a day! I’m cosplaying as Finn with BB-8 and it’s been a hit so far.
Marvel and Netflix’s TV adaptation of Daredevil was one of last season’s biggest surprises, giving audiences 13 episodes of wonderful action and awesome characters. The hype for the second season couldn’t have been higher, particularly with the announcement of The Punisher and Elektra joining the cast. After getting through the whole show within 48 hours and now having 48 hours more to digest the show, I am now willing to share what I thought.
This week on Girls, we go back to Japan with Shosh and while things may sound perfect there is more than meets the eye. Hannah and Loreen go to all women retreat where for Hannah it’s taking some time away from Fran and for her mom it is deciding what she will do regarding her marriage with Tad, while Adam and Jessa continue their blossoming relationship they meet up with her sister who is in town and has something to ask her.
