Listen…girl…chile…sirs and ma’ams, did yall watch that episode of Teen Wolf. I have literally been rendered so unable I can’t even give yall a proper recap of “The Girl Who Knew Too Much.” So instead I’m just gonna leave y’all with some incoherent thoughts put in a bulleted list.
After 3 seasons and 31 episodes of Teen Wolf, Jeff Davis and his cavalcade of writers have finally decided to look down on us mere mortals and delivered some of the answers we’ve been looking for. Visionaries promised to be an episode to help fill in the gaps and give us some more insight into Derek and the werewolf lore. Let’s dig in!
There are panels you attend and those you experience, and the Teen Wolf panel that took place in Ballroom 20 was definitely the latter. As an uber fan of this show and someone who spends hours out of the week discussing said show I was super excited for the panel, which honestly wasn’t as raucous or interesting as I thought it would be. *stares blankly at the carnage* I don’t…I can’t even begin to think of how to address this episode of Teen Wolf. Like I thought I was done with soul crushing deaths on TV but nope Jeff Davis said he could bring me back to that horrible place. Let’s just dive into the recap.
Never, in all of the history of Teen Wolf, has an episode been so hyped as “Motel California.” We were told it would be dark, make us cry and scream, and is the first episode in 3 seasons to receive a Viewers Discretion tag at the front of it. And man did it live up to the creepiness. Tonight’s episode showed what happens when people stop being polite and start experiencing really creepy shit.
Jesus take the motherfucking wheel this episode of Teen Wolf was all kinds of a mess, in the best ways. Multiple timelines, visions of dead people, brutal fights…chile I don’t even know where to begin. Frayed #minuswell have been the code word for my nerves after this episode cause man I don’t even know what to do. Let’s just dig in.
