So was I the only one who thought the guy who got it at the beginning of the episode was the same guy Lydia had sex with in the premiere?
I’m going to stand up for Ms. Blake after this episode. I liked that scene. I like that character now. Sink Sterek. She’s funny. I’m 95% sure she’s killing people, though. All in for evil Ms. Blake climbing underneath dumpsters and biting 6th year seniors.
Hi Vernon. Bye Vernon. So did he have no friends before he met Erica like 4 months ago? Was he dragging her around the ice rink on skates while she was going into epileptic fits last year?
I don’t know which twin is which yet. Do you think they switch costumes during shooting without telling the directors?
Jeff Davis is a Scisaac shipper, obviously.
Best moment of the episode is the return of Mama Argent, even just for a moment. And all things Kali. Would love to see her deliver a beat down to Cora, Queen of Scots.
Erica coming back would be some True Blood-refusing-to-kill-characters bull shit.
Here’s the thing: I actually like Ms Blake. I LOVED her entrance in episode 1 and I liked her in this scene. But my problem is that they way it’s unfolding is so out of character for Derek (especially given what’s happening to him) AND its 100% forced relationship. I have a few people in the know who tell me Ms Blake will be awesome, but that the relationship is only there to be a plot point to get us there. It’s funny cause I’m not even mad Derek has a love interest that’s not Stiles, I’m disappointed in the fact that they are sacrificing genuine character development for this romance
The only scene I knew who the twin was was during that hallway beat down and only because Danny ran to help him.
And I hope Jeff ships Scisaac.
One thing I hate about the whole Derek/Jennifer thing is how Derek is so gentle with her; showing his rare soft side, but then he does the doucheist thing to Issac to drive him away, “in order to keep him safe”.
God I absolutely detest these kind of bad boy stereotypes in fiction where the guy acts like a jerk and is sorta abusive to everyone else except for his love interest. If the writers continue to write Derek in this vein, I’m never going to be able to like his character. (And probably start shipping Stiles with someone else.)
Derek’s character development was established before he met ms. Blake. The way he dealt with his pack in the first 3 episodes is an example of that. The two aren’t even in a relationship ship yet, so how they interact now doesn’t say much. Right now to him she’s just an innocent bystander of a dangerous situation. Why would he be hostile towards her with no reason. Because thats who he is? Because its not. He’s clearly changing, and that’s because of his pack not Ms.Blake. they haven’t known each long enough for that. Derek’s treatment of Isaac merely suggests that he hasn’t completely changed. how can a a relationship be forced if there is no actual relationship yet?
First off thanks for your comment! Even though I hated how Derek treated Isaac, I liked that scene because it shows that he hasn’t matured a ton. That’s the Derek we’ve come to like in spite of his awfulness.
And with Ms Blake, I’m just confused as to why he even went to her that first place. Like after all that went down in the basement he went to her? That was really out of character for some dude who doesn’t trust humans as far as he can throw them lol
In regards to the relationship, you are right they aren’t in a relationship to ship, but you know the show is trying hard to put them in one. with that swelling music and the meet cutes lol I’m open to the relationship maybe just not to the way its been presented so far?
