The Demon Wolfcast is back from Comic-Con with a long title and a great episode of Teen Wolf to review. “Baby!Derek, Mama Hale and the Lying Liars Who Tell Stories” tackles the eighth episode of Teen Wolf titled “Visionary” which sees us flashing back to when Derek was young and cocky, Peter a scheming asshole, and Mama Hale the boss we all hoped she’d be. We also get some insight into Deucalion and Terence breaks down his Comic-Con trip and some scoop for the new season.

  1. Hello^_^ I just discovered your podcast a few days ago, and I’ve just now completed a marathon of all of the episodes. I love your commentaries on the episodes and the characters, and I’m looking forward to listening to the rest of the episodes in the future! I don’t really have anything to contribute that you two didn’t already mention in the podcast; hopefully I’ll have something to add next week, haha. The only comment I’d like to throw in is in relation to Comic Con, which also connects with the Sterek minisode you did awhile back: I have no idea if he had the final, if any, say in this decision, but if Jeff Davis is trying to discourage the Sterek shippers (which, after “Currents” and “Visionary,” I’m honestly not sure if that’s the case,) then I really don’t think he should have put Tyler Hoechlin and Dylan together during the cast interviews, haha.

Anyway, that aside, I’m really enjoying these. Keep up the great work!

    1. yay a new listener! Thanks for the kudos. And I totally agree with your thoughts on Jeff and Sterek. The only real way to discourage Sterek is to give them both love interests and force them apart on the show

  2. My theories from Teen Wolf S3 episode 8:

    • Peter was jealous of Talia Hale (fab entrance!) and Derek’s family that is why he did what he did.

    • Jennifer is either the sister of Paige or has been haunted by her spirit hence her being in theropy and being in Beacons Hills.

    • Ducalion became the DEMON WOLF (an abomination of the werewolf world) in order to combat All Hunters.

    • Lydia is a Druid. That is why she healed from the bite, is drawn to the dead and most importanly is in Scott’s circle of friends. She is his Emecery Druid!

    1. I think Deucalion might be aiming for more than just all hunters. Maybe he wants to make everyone a werewolf? I think Lydia is more than just a Druid (I kinda want her to be a banshee) and Jennifer…sigh…at this point I just need her to be something lol
