Apologies for the lateness listeners, but Micah and I have managed to deliver a dynamite Demon Wolfcast for you. Micah and I are back once again to break down an episode of Teen Wolf, which saw everyone trapped in a hospital, long monologues delivered, and a ton of Ian Bohen hevage. We also get into some predictions for the next episode since we actually saw the preview this time. Dig in!

  1. That and he’s aware that, as it is, NOBODY has defeated any of the Alpha pack in battle. And I mean Scott, Scott AND Peter (on drugs), the freakin ARGENTS. For all his ‘fail’, ironically, the only one who has come close to defeating an alpha pack wolf has been Derek, with Ennis (if they hadn’t brought him to Deaton). So, I don’t think the point of these failed fights (other than to find ending stories for actors leaving the show) is that ‘Derek sucks at fighting’, or someone else would be winning at them, but that maybe the way to go at this isn’t combat.

  2. Both of you bring up good points, but what was weird about it was they (meaning the writers) had shown us explicitly in these past two episodes how powerful Jen could be…so why would they then have Derek be like nope let’s run away and Jen be like ok? She could have helped! Or they could have found a quick way to distract her THEN ran away. For me it felt really out of character, less a realization on Derek’s part that fighting might not be the best strategy more a realization of incompetence. Also it felt like the writers were pulling strings to isolate Derek and Jen for those 20 minute monologues about a variety of things that I couldzzzzzzzzzzz oops sorry.
