Well folks, we have finally reached the end of the first half of the year! How crazy is that? 2014 has been such an interesting year so far for movies. I was going through my Lettrboxd page where I keep a database of my reviews and I realize that I didn’t see a single movie
Man the past week and change has certainly been a blur. Covering AFI Fest has been both a blessing and a curse but I am glad to have had the chance to see movies I would have otherwise missed. Now that the festival is over, I can reclaim a bit of my life. Before I do that wholesale, I figured I’d do a wrap up post with links to my reviews as well as my awards for the fest. Check it out!
A one hour and twenty-minute heart attack. That’s the immediate description that came to my mind after the AFI Fest screening of Charlie Victor Romeo. Good heavens is that movie stressful. Luckily for people getting a chance to check the flick out, the movie is far more interesting than one might think on first glance and provides a unique look into fascinating subject matter.
Can you feel it? AFI Fest is just around the corner, this Thursday to be exact and I am super excited to attend the festival on behalf of AwardsCircuit.com. Seeing as how we just did a staff wide top 10 film list, I figure I should release my personal choices for the 10 films I most want to see at the festival. Check it out!
