So every so often with these Wayback Wednesday pieces, I want to revisit particular film years to see if I still feel the way I once did. This should be a monthly thing and given the myriad of anniversaries that come up, it could be really fun. 2012 was a pretty interesting year for me.

Lists are fun aren’t they? Regardless of who does them a list, particularly one based on quality, is sure to be an interesting read and one that challenges you to make your own judgements. It was recently brought to my attention that The AV Club made a top 100 films of the decade so far list and yall know I couldn’t let it go unanswered.
I recently got a tumblr ask about what my favorite gay books/movies were and I’d figured I’d share the results here. I decided to retile the post queer to encompass more groups btw. As I was crafting the answer for this, it struck me just how much of this content I didn’t see/read till I was well into college. I mean with the exception of three of those books and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, I hadn’t experience ANY of this till I turned 18, which is crazy. I’ve made up for much of that time lost as you can see below, even though I have a long way to go. Anyways, here’s some stuff for you all to check out with what’s left of your summer.
