On Girls tonight, we see that Hannah is still trying to adjust to Iowa and from the looks of it she is not happy as she originally was when she was first accepted to grad school. I really enjoyed the scenes with Jessa this week, because I feel that we really don’t get to see much of this character and in this episode we saw clearly how broken and lonely she is…that scene towards the end with Adam was emotional because it shows that she is desperate for some companionship regardless of how tough she acts.
The wait is over, here we go again with Girls Season 4…the last time we saw these ladies; Hannah had been accepted to grad school in Iowa, Marnie was hooking up with Desi, Jessa was helping Beedie commit suicide, and Shoshanna wasn’t going to graduate on time. So let’s see what Lena and company have in store for us this season.
Hannah (Lena Dunham) is checking her mail and runs into Adam’s sister, Caroline (Gaby Hoffman) she surprises Hannah and finds out that Caroline has been shacking up with her neighbor Laird (Jon Glaser). Both are having some small talk and Caroline tells Hannah that she is pregnant and also asks about how Adam is doing, Hannah
Girls start off with Hannah’s mom, Loreen (Becky Ann Baker) and she’s on the phone with Hannah (Lena Dunham) telling her that her grandma is in the hospital and is going to die, that she has pneumonia and that Hannah has to go see her before she dies and tells her mom that she’s coming.
