Well the end is almost here. This Oscar season has felt like it would never end, partly because all the stuff that should be winning is not in fact winning. But that’s the nature of the beast. Here in this final round of Oscar predictions, I look into my crystal ball and see what will take home the bacon nee Oscar come Sunday.

So many shortlists have been dropped and so much has changed in the race (where did this Trumbo and The Big Short love come from?). This set of Oscar predictions, I really tried to divorce myself from the narrative and only kept movies/performers in that had at least 2 critics nominations or a significant nomination/win at a big show like the globes or SAG.
