Yesterday the Twitter world was aflutter over the news that Lifetime is going to make an all Black version of 1989 hit film Steel Magnolias, itself based on a hit Broadway play. It started off like any other school day. I woke up and ate breakfast, no tv for me as my father believed that watching tv in the morning was an unnecessary waste of time. He drove me to school, playing Curtis Mayfield CD, which was different from the norm of listening 94.1 but not totally unusual.
Earlier this morning, I ran across an article that has inspired me so much, I’ve decided to write about something that isn’t movie flavored. Forbes.com came out with the list of 650 Best Colleges (which you an view here). While best lists are very commonplace, the creators of these rankings used a very interesting scale.
