Well folks, that’s all she wrote on the 2013 awards season. 12 Years a Slave is your Oscar champ, Gravity won 7 and I’m tired so let’s recap.

The Good

-I went 21/24 in my predictions, gotta be the best I’ve ever done predictions the Oscars. I only missed Mr. Hublot for Animated Short, Gravity for Editing and 12 Years a Slave for Best Picture.

-Robert Lopez just got the EGOT with his win for “Let It Go” and I was terrified “Happy” would come in at the last moment.

-Lupita Nyong’o, Alfonso Cuaron, Emmanuel Lubezki, Steve McQueen and Brad Pitt all have Oscars.

-American Hustle went 0-10. *harlem shakes*

-SPIKE JONZE WON BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY!!!!

-Cate Blanchett had the best speech of the night and I love how she read the industry for filth about female led movies.

The Bad

-I missed Mr. Hublot for Animated Short, Gravity for Editing and 12 Years a Slave for Best Picture.

-The show was soooooooooooooo long. Like soooooooooooooo long.

-Aside from Ellen’s California rain joke and that selfie, I wasn’t really feeling her as the host.

The Ugly

-FUCK MR. HUBLOT.

-WHY DID I LET YALL ME SWITCH FROM GRAVITY TO CAPTAIN PHILLIPS IN EDITING?! I SWITCHED AT THE VEYR LAST MINUTE.
