Chile this week was a MESS. Blog went to hell, the finals went 7 Games, I was trine schedule and organize so many things. The issues on my blog seem to be fixed for now, so how about an awesome look at cool posts from other blogs.

Even as a long time watcher of ESPN and First Take in particular, I can’t say I’m sad to see Skip Bayless go. He has dug himself a pretty deep hole and it seems that even his fellow staffers aren’t mad about his leaving. While I get what Skip was doing, there comes a point where the performance begins to outweigh the opinion, and when you can’t say “I was wrong” then you’re of no use on an opinion show. It’s why this interview that Ryen and Danny did was so great.

Alternately cringeworthy, hilarious and informative, this account of an Orioles catcher who will be wearing a Kevlar cup after a foul ball gone awry.

This sounds like a really awesome project: Heathen is an LGBT comic about Norse mythology. Heathen tells the tale of a young woman, Aydis, whose death had to be faked by her father in order for her to escape her village. Her crime was kissing another young woman. Not content to wallow or escape into anonymity far from home, however, she decided to leap into a tale so old it had already passed into legend in her time: the story of Brunhild. Come on in the room diverse comics!

I discovered this amazing website called Austen Prose that’s dedicated to the works of the great author Jane Austen. Take a peak around that sight then go watch an adaptation of her work, like the 2005 Pride and Prejudice film or The Lizzie Bennett Diaries.

Canada has become a huge production center for TV and movies thanks to tons of space and great tax rates. This article chronicles both the blessing and curse that production has brought.

You all owe it to yourselves to watch the following short that inspired the TV show UnREAL, titled Sequin Raze. It’s one of the best shorts I’ve ever seen and you can see where the brilliance that is UnREAL would come from.
