Oh Glee, you continuously find new and interesting ways to frustrate/enrage/engage the people that watch your show. How else could one explain that tomfoolery that was the recent episode of Glee? Everywhere you looked on the internet were people saying how this was Glee’s most intense episode ever, yet by the end of the episode I just felt emotionally abused and cheated. So much so that it’s taken me this long to even write up my thoughts because I was just too done. But here at last is my sternly worded blog post.
And we’re back! It’s been a minute since we had a new podcast episode but with so much ratchetness flowing around I had to bring it back. WIth my friends Myla and Quincy, we talked about everything from Glee’s episode on school shootings to North Korea’s recent comments and break it down. Enjoy! Tonight’s Glee
It’s the first Terence’s Tuesday Top 10 (hooray alliteration) and man is it a doozy. I fear I’ll have nowhere to go but down but why not aim high? GQ recently did a post about the top 21 books of the 21st Century that every man should read and it inspired me to make this list. This was actually really difficult to do considering this is spanning from 2001 to now I can i can barely remember what book I read last week (Lover At Last by JR Ward if you’re wondering) let alone since 2001. I also took out books in a series (so no Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, or Robert Langdon books). You also won’t find plays, non-fiction, or internet fan fiction on the list, which is why the final list looks so geared towards the latter half of the time frame. So after reaching Claire Danes levels of ugly crying to cut this list down to 10, I managed to get it to my top books. Check it out!
Hey everyone, I’ve been doing a lot of behind the scenes work on the blog in the past few days which I’m really excited to share. But I pimp my blog enough on my blog, I figured it was time to highlight some other places that I contribute to. Awards Circuit Interview with Teen Wolf
“So on this day of reflection I say again, thank you for going on this journey with me. I’ll see you at the movies.” – Roger Ebert, 4/2/13
RIP Roger Ebert (1942-2013)
The Chicago Sun Times ran a beautiful piece on this great man who will most definitely be missed.
What’s a better way to keep the party going than a fun video? Over the past weekend, I attended WonderCon in Anaheim. For those unaware, WonderCon is a smaller, less frantic, all around better version of the massive ComicCon that takes place in San Diego in July. Though I had one crazy ass Saturday schedule, it was made all better by the fact that I got to interview the executive producer and two cast members of MTV’s Teen Wolf. I am such a fan of the show and all the things it’s spawned, the fan fiction, the ships, the stans, all of it. So you know I was enthused to speak with the people who contribute to its awesomeness. Well I’m glad to be sharing this really fun interview I got with Tyler Posey, who plays THE teen wolf Scott McCall. Check it out after the jump!
