The key theme this week on Girls, was relationships. I felt this was one of the stronger episodes of the show in it’s final season (only two more remain). There was a full range of emotions between our characters. Where Adam puts his relationship in jeopardy with Jessa, in order to see if he and
Season 5 of Girls has come to an end…Hannah finally goes back to her roots of doing something that she used to love…Marnie asks Ray something regarding her job…Shosh finds something she is good at, and is the Jessa & Adam relationship already doomed before it really begins? Let’s jump right in with the season finale.
This week on Girls, Shosh comes back from Japan…but doesn’t seem that thrilled being back…Hannah and Fran continue having problems…Adam goes to see Laird, because he hasn’t heard from Caroline in a while. Marnie and Desi try to work together as a team for their music, but it doesn’t go as planned.
This week Hannah and Elijah get a new roommate, Adam and Jessa develop this unorthodox way of being in a relationship…while Ray is worried about a rival coffee business…Elijah finds a little romance and Hannah gets an unexpected call from her father and rushes to the rescue.
Here we are again with the season being over, we almost witnessed a home birth…saw a couple of confessions from some of our characters and also felt that finally these girls made some decisions for the better good, because I have often felt while watching this season that they weren’t going anywhere or did the same repetitive things while the guys are the ones that have changed and also where was Elijah?
Emotions were high in this episode, Hannah came back from Iowa and wasn’t expecting Adam to have moved on so fast…Hannah’s friends came to her aid and each gave her some advice that she may or may have not listened to…we saw a pair of returning faces and we had a very real and heartbreaking talk with Hannah and Adam. So let’s begin shall we.
