Like you, I was thrown away when the three (Lydia, Stiles and Allison) saved Ethan from sawing himself into half. It might be because they wouldn’t let anyone kill themselves when they could stop them, no matter who it is, but I wonder if it might also be that they wanted to stop Darach’s plans, whatever they are Since they’ve theorised that werewolves were the next sacrifice.
I really would love to learn more about Boyd, and I hope his backstory could come into play with the plot in the near future. It would be fantastic if the mysterious girl were his sister and she’s alive. The writers did hint that her name was important.
Even non-fandom people are saying the Dennifer relationship is too rushed and forced and full of cliches, so yea. It could be deliberate, or just really bad writing. I can’t decide yet. I wonder if they would be bombarded Dennifer questions at comic-con next week, hah. Considering you said next week’s episode is a “Ms Blake” episode.
Maybe they’re showing Erica’s death next week or something. I dunno. What about Cora though? Since from the spolier summaries, she’s going to be near-death by the finale? Is episode 7 too soon for that?
I think Cora could very well be in danger/near death and stay that way throughout the rest of the season, the time span of these first 6 episodes can’t have been more than a few weeks so it’s possible.
I think my biggest problem is we keep getting more questions than answers. Each episode always leaves me like ‘wtf’. I really enjoyed the episode and agree with most your points. I don’t think we are meant to be finding the whole Jennifer/Derek scene romantic as why would they cut the scene like that with Scott one? It did ruin the episode a bit for me. Plus I highly doubt true love healed Derek wounds, I think it was more like something odd is going on here. Well, I hope so anyways course I don’t buy this whole relationship and agree with what you said. I must admit I never saw what fans were saying about some of there scenes being like Stiles and Derek’s until the car scene and now this week promo left me feeling like wtf are the writers doing. They must be able to see it. I hope there is a reason and not all of us just losing our minds. Also I really hope they don’t kill Boyd. I really like the character and want to know more about him. Plus him and Stiles are gold in their scenes together. Great thoughts this week and enjoyed listening!
Hi guys,
I just wanted to say what a good job you are doing and now that the audio quality has improved it has made the podcast even better.
I just wanted to leave some quick thoughts about the latest episode:
1) Ethan’s comment to Danny about his scars
I think Ethan meant the ‘I hope you are a survivor’ not as a challenge but as a sort of wish. I think he knows that the Alpha pack are ruthless and people are going to get killed and or injured as part of the battle. And as Danny is known to be friends with Scot he is in the prime killing zone.
2) Slight spoilers for Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season1
Techno-Pagan!
Come on, new teacher in a school where supernatural things occur on a regular basis. She is a witch.
The scene between Derek and Ms Blake so reminds me of the scene in Arrow season 1.
I came away from the episode with a question. How could Deucalion have bitten uncle Alex in 1977? How old is he and do werewolves age slowly like Wolverine?
Anyway enough of my rambling thoughts.
Looking forward to the next episode of Teen Wolf and the next episode of your podcast.

Thanks for the feedback on the audio! We tried a new program this week, so hopefully we can continue to deliver quality podcasts.
Speaking of Buffy, wouldn’t it be super fun if Ms Blake was like that preying mantis teacher they had?
In regards to Deucalion, I don’t really know how werewolfs age on the show. Jeff has said that Derek might not be 24 but isn’t young so idk what to think. I am thinking that maybe Duke was a young alpha back then and hadn’t yet turned into the fanatic he is now.
