Girls Recap: Episode 3.05 “Only Child”

This week thanks to HBO GO, we got this Girls episode early and also I’m pretty sure it’s because of the Super Bowl happening tomorrow evening.

Girls Recap: Episode 3.04 “Dead Inside”

The fourth episode of Girls episode starts with Hannah (Lena Dunham) running  late to her meeting that she had with her editor David (John Cameron Mitchell) at Millstreet Press and Hannah asks the receptionist if she can see David, but she tells her that he hasn’t arrived. Then we see everyone is running around and even some people are crying and Hannah is wondering what is happening. The receptionist gets a call and tells Hannah that David is dead.

Girls Recap: Episode 3.03 “She Said Ok”

3.03

Episode 3.03 of Girls starts off with Hannah (Lena Dunham) cutting Adam’s (Adam Driver) hair, this was a nice little parallel to Hannah getting her hair cut by her neighbor Laird (John Glaser) last season after Hannah cut her own hair. Loved this quote from Adam: ” I don’t care about hair. It grows. It shrinks. You can’t get attached” I swear Adam Driver, just continues to be awesome. Hannah mentions that Adam should feel confident that she’s cutting his hair when she is not in the middle of an obsessive compulsive meltdown aka season 2 finale episode. Adam’s phone rings and he gives his and Hannah’s address to that person on the line, it turns out it’s Adam’s sister and she’s coming over. Next scene we get is Adam’s sister, Caroline (Gaby Hoffman) has arrived and Adam is not happy that she’s going to stay over, he really doesn’t want her to stay with them saying that she destroys everything in her path. This should be interesting because I can tell you Caroline looks very eccentric.

Girls Recap: 3.01 “Females Only” and 3.02 “Truth or Dare”

Well hello everyone, I was given the opportunity by Terence to write recaps for the 3rd season of HBO’s Girls. This is something new for me so we will see how this recapping business goes throughout the season.

Have you all recovered from your New Years partying? If you’re like me, the new year couldn’t come soon enough as many of my favorite shows are coming back on air! With that, I have created a handy dandy premiere schedule that you can view here so you can keep track of everything. However, I figured I’d take the time to highlight some of the shows I’m looking forward to this TV season.

The Tomas Experience Awards: Television

Ah television, my 2nd favorite way to waste my life. To say I watch a lot of TV would probably be the understatement of the century, so making these lists were actually quite difficult. Given this year’s lack luster list of returning comedies, I wanted to include new shows. But due to the immense volume of shows being considered, I had to bite the bullet and make 3 categories: drama, comedy, and new series.
