Maybe Peter was working with Jennifer? I don’t know about that, but there are quite a few mysteries still remaining this season that I really hope they would give an explanation to in the next half instead of just disregarding everything and failing at continuity again.
The main two I’m interested in are:
1) Why did Jennifer kiss the Sheriff before she kidnapped him? Is it like many have speculated that killing the virgins gave her the ability to entrance? I know Jennifer definitely had feelings for Derek, but was Derek under her spell?
2) Harris said he helped the Darach (presumably the one killing him) that he did everything she asked. What exactly did he do?? Tell Danny not to investigate the currents? That’s it? What?
Also, I’ve always cringed at Hoechlin’s acting but I thought his politician line was actually quite ok? They are so “never ever ever getting back together” that they might as well be strangers and their interaction is as bland and boring as a politician telling someone to join their cause.
