Well y’all, Teen Wolf 3A ended on Monday and I’m still trying to take the season in. Seems like just yesterday we were all freaking out about the first promo, whether Jennifer had seen an animal attack before or any number of the episodes. I have had a blast covering the show but good God am I ready for a break. To celebrate making it through the season and preparing for the break, here are 10 things I can do now that the first half of the season is over.
1. Go to bed on Mondays without being stressed, angry, depressed and at a reasonable hour. If you listened to the podcast for ep 11 you can imagine how awful it was to go to sleep. But now my Monday nights will be stress free!
2. Focus on other shows. You all can look forward to a lot of TV coverage here at the blog. I’ll def be holding a poll on what shows I should cover for the fall, but you can probably bet that Scandal will be getting a big showcase.
3. Not worry if I have to endure any more terrible love scenes with Derek and Jennifer or Derek losing a fight or anything regarding Derek. I hope he’s having a good time on his werewolf retreat with Cora.
4. Go to therapy because of the show. I have so many unresolved issues because of this show.
5. Go back to being a casual fan instead of this hyper fan everyone thinks I am. At least here on the blog, this will be the last week of major Teen Wolf coverage.
6. Worry about people no longer reading my blog. You all won’t abandon me like Erica and Boyd did Derek? Like Peter did to his sanity? Like Jeff Davis did to plot coherency, serious character development and fan wishes?
7. Allow John Rivera to have a Teen Wolf free timeline for a while. Poor guy only follows 2001 people so my tweets must dominate his timeline to an annoying degree 😉
8. Write/read a ton of fic. I have like 5 fic ideas and now that the season is over I can actually include some canon stuff in them. Also I’ll need to read your fics to gwt those awful plots we got
9. Rewatch the episodes I liked. Even though the season ended with a whimper rather than a bang, there were still some great episodes. The 2nd episode, Motel California and the 9th epsiodes were some wonderful hours of TV that I’d revisit.
10. Anxiously await for the show to come back in January. Despite the fact that I’ve had my fandom abused by this season I am still excited to see more episodes and where the story will go from here.
