When I managed to catch the first How to Train Your Dragon film on television I did so with a little bit of nonchalance. I had heard the film was good but it never seemed interesting to me via the marketing or reviews. By the end of that screening though, I fell in love with the characters, the setting and the emotional weight the movie seemed to conjure up effortlessly during it’s run time. In this respect, How to Train Your Dragon 2 had a lot to live up to and I went into the movie with the highest expectations. What I got out of the movie is a film that doesn’t quite reach the high bar the first film set, but still manages to be a fun and engaging ride. Read more at Awards Circuit.com
