The Emmy nominations are set to be announced tomorrow and we have one of the most wide open fields of any Emmy year that I can remember. There are some juggernauts but can you remember the last time we didn’t really know who would take Drama and Comedy series? What a brave new world we live in.
When I think about the past year, it’s been super varied. Now that we are in the age of shows taking time off between seasons, my fake Emmy ballot posts look so different year on year. This years big winner were Chernobyl, You, and Barry with 6, 5, and 4 wins respectively. Here are the choices for what I’d put on my Emmy Ballot, with a few extra bits thrown in.
