So how do we feel about the Oscar nominations coming out on Monday? I’ll have my final predictions tomorrow, but I always love to compare what the Academy does to what I would honor. This year, 36 movies found themselves with nominations in my Oscar ballot and the top winner this year was Parasite, tying the all time record for wins in my personal awards with seven wins including best picture. It shares the record with Cloud Atlas, mother!, and last year’s Burning. Not terrible company to be in. If you were given the power to vote for the Oscars, who would you vote for?
