Y’all know I love mess so this was the one panel on the day that I could not miss. Turns out this was not just a fun exercise in looking at shipping, but a really fascinating dive into psychology and through data, how people’s affinities affect their shipping. I mean just look at these slides chile…some of yall need help! lol
Comic Con Masquerade
Not only was 2021 the first time I have ever attended a costume contest, it was also the first one I competed in. Sometimes good things can happen when you take a chance. I decided on a whim to do the Dune stillsuit as a cosplay and enter the Comic Con Masquerade after getting an email that there was a few spots open. This costume whooped my behind chile…I had to hand draw all the patterns for the armor, figure out how to connect all the pieces to get it off and on (Velcro saved me), and I def thought I would not finish, but I didn’t want to miss a chance to join my first show due to the opportunity. Turns out that was a good decision cause I won the Costumer’s Guild West scholarship! It comes with a year membership and a trip to CostumeCon, can’t wait to learn more and level up.
