Next up on the 2024 in Review docket, Top 10 Albums of 2024. This was quite the fascinating music year with some heavy hitters dropping new and interesting works, the beef of the decade, and the announcement of several new acts that want to be here to stay. What I think I enjoyed this most was how these artists took me on journeys, not just in their work, but amongst other artists. I feel like I was gaining a PhD in music digging into the samples, lyrics, and subject matter in these projects. As per usual, this albums list also includes a playlist of my favorite song from each album as the perfect soundtrack to end the year.
