We are on the precipice of a new year and as thrilled as I am to be looking forward, it is really fun to look back. While my film awards will still debut in their customary mid-late January time frame, we can put a bow on the TV of 2025. These are always strange to try and pull together because of the way we view television thanks to the Emmys (which runs Jun 1-May 31). Lots of shows pop up at different times of the year – some make massive cultural in-roads and some barely register. There’s a mountain of shows that I look forward to watching in the new year and a few that I should catch up on but as of this posting, here’s my top 10 TV shows of 2025.
