Well, well, well look what we have here…a return to Middle Earth! Its been 9 years since Lord of the Rings walked away with the Oscars and now Peter Jackson is taking us back to the shire to learn about what happened before Frodo and his mates embarked on their journey.
Yes
-“from Peter Jackson” that statement alone would get me to watch this movie
-the dwarves singing brought some gravitas to this trailer
-Andy Serkis as Golum!
-Martin Freeman as Bilbo, I love him on BBC’s Sherlock and have no doubts he can pull off this role
-The rest of the cast ain’t to shabby either *takes deep breath* Ian Holm, Ian McKellen, Richard Armitage, Graham McTavish, Ken Stott,Aidan Turner, Dean O’Gorman, Mark Hadlow, Jed Brophy, Adam Brown, John Callen, Peter Hambleton, William Kircher, James Nesbitt, Stephen Hunter,Christopher Lee, Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom, Evangeline Lilly, Andy Serkis, Hugo Weaving, Benedict Cumberbatch, Mikael Persbrandt, Lee Pace, Stephen Fry, Cate Blanchett, Sylvester McCoy, Jeffrey Thomas, Mike Mizrahi, Bret McKenzie, Ryan Gage, Barry Humphries, Conan Stevens, and John Bell
No
-Do we REALLY need a prequel of what happened? Is anyone dying to know how Bilbo Baggins got the ring?
-all the dwarf comedy bits don’t really hit
Maybe So
-we haven’t seen some of the better scenes from the book and those other LOTR movies weren’t half bad…
Based of of the trailer I’m a yes. WHat say you?
