Not involved in the craziness at the motel is Derek, who after last week is pretty banged up and near death. Ms. Blake is freaking out (although she does find time to note his amazing physique) about him being near death but helps him recuperate. Derek is keen on letting the other know he’s still alive but this trifling ass bitch woman thinks it’s a good idea to use a false death citing literature examples. Girl what? Derek does his worst effort to get her to leave saying everyone around him gets hurt and she thinks that’s a come on and they start making out. Just…please take this plot away from me. And to make matters even worse her kisses end up HEALING DEREK’s WOUNDS and they have sex. Ms. Blake apparently has a healing vagina. Bitch ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh like this was my worst fear come to life! And also I am so mad Derek and this plot line and I just cannot…everyone think he’s dead and is committing suicide and he is out here fucking the teacher.
But even that shitty ass plot line wasn’t enough to quell the biggest surprise of the episode GRANDPA ARGENT IS ALIVE! BITCH YEEEESSSSSSSSSSS! I loved to hate him last season and I knew he was still alive. Chris Argent spent most of the episode reenvisioning the alpha pack fight from last week, but he makes a stop at the end of the episode to Gerard sitting in some sort of home. He asks Gerard about the Argent who died and who bit him, and it was Deucalion! OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH SHIT! It’s about to get real.

-Chile this episode tried the entirety of my spirit. So good.
-Does no one find it strange that after Ethan got the dog shit beat out of him last week that he was almost fully healed????
-Did anyone catch what Danny said about his scars? Something about having some sort of surgery for some reason but I watched the scene twice and couldn’t for the life of me hear what he said.
-How funny was it that Stiles was indignant about how he knew Matt was evil?
-Clearly I’m no fan of Dennifer/Jenerek/Doomed, but this plot would work so much better if those scenes didn’t intercut the craziness at the hotel. The stuff with them would have worked as episode book ends or a block.
-Also for the love of God TAKE THIS PLOT AWAY. I don’t want it Jeff.
-Boyd is getting some sort of backstory…just in time for him to die? He’s my choice for major character dying next week.
-Thanks to wonderful commenter Will Houston for pointing this out, but did Stiles and Lydia not realize Boyd’s feet were sticking out of that tub? I guess fire underwater is cooler *kanye shrug*
-What was that thing Lydia saw? I’m thinking Grandpa Argent used some of his hexxus powers to appear.
-Team Human was in full force tonight! I hope we get more team ups with Allison, Stiles, and Lydia
-Line of the Night: “The omg would be for your incredible physique if you weren’t bleeding black blood.” I hate this plot but this line was funny.

I’m team Ms. Blake but that magic healing vagina stuff was dumb unless we’re setting her up to be the big bad. And they should have kept it at the hotel and not had Derek in it this week. Or any week.
Aside from that, BEST EPISODE EVER. I know they’ve got some janky sfx on this show sometimes, but they spend the money they do have wisely. That shot of WHATEVER THE FUCK ABERRATION was in the fire was just as good as the kanima ripping that girl’s throat out last season and totally worth not paying Colton Haynes anymore. Grandpa Argent is the BOSS.
Also, that flare scene is the best Scott/Stiles scene they’ve ever had on this show. Bout time for Vernon to get a back story. Did Stiles and Lydia not notice that his feet were hanging out of the end of the bathtub? Ya don’t need fire that’s going to burn underwater, guys.
I love Chris Argent the most.

First of all I hate you so much for making me cackle loudly with that colton haynes line LOL
Man I am on team Ms. Blake but they put her with derek and i just cease to care. I know several people have told me there’s a big payoff and that the relationship seems rushed for a reason, but that doesn’t make it any easier to watch. Like it’s never fun watching characters hit rock bottom and make terrible decisions but Derek has made SO MANY and in such a short time frame that it is painful watching his story with ms blake play out
But I totally agree, this was one of the best episodes Teen Wolf.
