The episode ends with Deaton and Scott talking about his eyes. Apparently Scott is something called a true alpha, a feat that happens when a beta becomes an alpha by force of will. It’s also the reason why Deucalion is interested in adding him, not Derek, to his pack.

Questions/Comments/Queries/Criticisms/Complaints
-Mama McCall was so awesome this episode and I’m glad we had her.
-Was all that park our with Scott fighting Deucalion necessary? It looked dumb in such a small space.
-Derek’s cock must have wonderworking properties cause Ms. Blake looked refreshed as hell in that classroom.
-You know who also looked amazing? Bianca “I’ll Never Fucking Age” Lawson. All i can do when i think of her is say bish yaaaaaaaassssssssssss
-Where does Derek go from here? This character is at his lowest possible depth and if I remember correctly Deucalion said that once you kill one beta, you’ll do the rest on your own. Is he gonna turn on Isaac, Cora, and Peter next?

  1. More bodies droppin’ on Teen Wolf. God bless them for avoiding becoming True Blood. Kween Kali is kutting down on kosts. Poor Vernon. I guess, in retrospect, working … at an ice rink wasn’t so bad? Did we ever figure out what Boyd’s deal is? I mean, he had that sister thing last week sort of but does he have a family or anything?

Poor Gage Golightly. You know there wasn’t nobody else in that vault with her when she was shooting those scenes.

Mama McCall is in charge this season. Need more of her. And her scenes gives good Scisaac.

Derek is the most flop Alpha ever. If you’ve got a K-19 The Widowmaker submarine alarm in your damn loft in the middle of the most deserted meat packing district in America, pay attention to if it’s on. And he’s never getting his security deposit back at this point.

Cora needs to step off, too. Had it up to here with these Hales. We’ll see about this all-Hale centric episode next week. Peter can stay.

    1. I don’t think we ever got the full story with Boyd, which is why though his death devastated me, it wasn’t because his character died. I’m hoping that they’ll fill in the backstory stuff but given that the character is now dead, what’s the impetus to do that?

  2. I don’t think a huge space for that little fight would’ve been necessary. But anyways yeah, I actually had no idea that Boyd was gonna die. It was cray sad though. Most heartbreaking death ever. Poor Derek.

    1. I totally knew Boyd would die but the way he did was devastating. And yes poor Derek, guy just can’t catch a break
