It’s back! I mean its been EONS since Scandal graced my television but the addictive series and best drama on TV finally returned with a solid episode that included some great twists, turns and performances. In lieu of doing full recaps (because Thursdays are exhausting) I figured I’d give my brief thoughts on the happenings each week. So here they are.
-How amazing was that opening scene with Liv and her father? Kerry and Joe Morton killed it.
-I am really interested in what Liv’s dad does for a living but he has got to die lmao The only person I’ll stomach talking to Liv like that is Mellie.

-I all but fell off the couch CACKLING at how Cyrus asked for a kill folder about Liv and it showed all the dudes she dated before smanging Fitz, and ALL OF THEM were Black. That was such a foolish detail but I loved it.
-Harrison is trying to prove himself but honestly I could care less about him. Also, the gladiators didn’t really get a lot of shine this week.
-I literally held my breath during most of that bunker scene with Liv, Fitz and Mellie. It was so damn intense and I loved how the writers shifted the power around the room between the three of them. And though I love Mellie and was glad she agreed to the plan, she needs to realize Liv is better at planning than her lol
-Is now a good time to mention that I hate Olitz? Well I do.
-FITZ LEAKED LIV’S NAME! Chile..what…like… *faints* Shonda just finds new ways to just slay the audience every damn week and that twist was something I did not see coming.
-I am 100% here for a Mellie-Fitz war cause Bellamy Young and Tony Goldwyn are amazing actors and you know Shonda is giving them Emmy-esque material. I loved Mellie and Cyrus going behind Fitz’ back to ruin that poor girl and I can’t wait to see how Pope and Associates handle it (since it’s partly their fault).
