The episode starts off with Hannah (Lena Dunham) and Ray (Alex Karpovsky) at Grumpy’s, the coffee shop where they work at. Hannah wants to talk to Ray about something and Ray already knows what she wants to talk about, which is that she is quitting her job because  she landed a new one. While they are talking about this, we see Shosh (Zosia Mamet) passing outside the coffee shop and Hannah sees her, but quickly runs out of view. Hannah tells Ray that she is going to start writing for GQ magazine, but he already knows there has to be a catch. He tells her that he’ll see her back in a week when she comes running back and that he wants to know who the sponsor for the magazine is because Hannah landed a job writing advertionials and she tells him that it Neiman Marcus.

Shosh is walking and sees Ray playing basketball, she stops and is looking at him and then he sees her and gives her a nod and she just walks away. Next scene we see Hannah sitting in her new office aka cubicle where her name is written as H. Horvatt.

Ray is going into his office, but we hear him say to one of his workers “It’s a cappuccino, not a chino” hahaha (I just love Ray). He calls Marnie (Allison Williams) to check in on her to see how’s she doing. She picks up and is watching something and he keeps saying that he’s checking in on her and Marnie tells him to stop saying that. Ray tells her that he doesn’t want what happened between them to affect their friendship, she tells him what friendship? (Seriously these two are something else) and Ray tells Marnie that he’s being a gentleman or squire to her, he hangs up saying he doesn’t care. But as he’s leaving back to work he goes back to the phone to call her again telling her that he does care and Marnie tells him to prove it.

Back to Hannah and GQ headquarters, we see this employee named Joe (Michael Zegen, from The Walking Dead fame) passing by Hannah and saying things like “Hey” “What’s Up” and finally he stops by Hannah’s cubicle and introduces himself. Joe mentions an article he read by Hannah that he liked and she thanks him and mentions that it wasn’t retweeted as much as she would have liked (oh social media, don’t we all know this). Joe gives Hannah a quick tour and shows her the snack room, where she is amazed by this and she tells him, “Snack room, everything after saying that has been blurred” they have a meeting with their editor and Hannah walks in carrying all these snacks.

Jessa (Jemima Kirke) is with a customer at her new job working as a sales person at a children’s clothing store. She is showing the customer a black dress and the customer goes that she is looking for something for a christening and Jessa tells her what is wrong with that one…that it’s chic. Shosh is at the shop and is talking to Jessa, she mentions that Ray has changed that he has become successful and that now her life is a mess. She tells Jessa that she needs a solid mature committed relationship.

Back to GQ, Hannah meets Karen (Jessica Williams, from The Daily Show) and Kevin (Amir Arison, from The Blacklist) and in walks their editor, Janice (Jenna Lyons, actual executive creative director for J. Crew) she tells them if they have any ideas for what they are going to write about, which is: “Field Guide for the Urban Male” Hannah gives Janice many ideas and everyone seems to like them. Janice keeps asking everyone if they have any more ideas and Hannah keeps raising her hand and then Kevin has one and no one seems to like it.

Marnie is watching something when she hears Ray knocking on her door and he brought coffee and vegan muffins and that he’s ready to watch crappy TV with her. She asks him if he’s ever watched Reality TV and he tells her that he once saw a documentary on Jazz music, she tells him that they are watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Hannah comes home from work and Adam (Adam Driver) is excited to see her and she dumps all the snacks she brought from work on the table. They talk about how their day went and Adam tells her that he had another audition…in which Hannah gets happy because that means a job for Adam. He tells her that he doesn’t want the actual job that he does it more for the challenge. That he would rather sell a dream catcher that he has in hand on Etsy, because people would fall for that crap and buy it (Adam you are just awesome).

We cut back to Marnie and Ray, who are having what seemed to me some awkward sexy times (oh boy!)

Another day of work for Hannah at GQ and she sees Kevin and tells him why he doesn’t like her and they converse and he tells her that he doesn’t like her face and that she should get a new one. In comes Joe and Karen and everyone starts taking that they actually are writers, because Hannah tells them that she wants to write for real not writing for a corporation. She notices that all of them have been working there for a long and she steps out and panics a bit we see her wetting her hair in the sink.

Shosh is talking to Parker (Evan Jonigkeit, real life boyfriend of Zosia) and she talks to him about relationships and that she’s not here basically for any foolishness and he tells her that he’s down for whatever.

Hannah goes into Janice’s office and tells her that she doesn’t want to be here for 10 years working for corporate advertising. So Janice tells her okay and that there are a lot of other people that would like this job. Hannah is kinda surprised that that’s it with her resigning and she goes back to Janice’s office that she’s changed her mind and doesn’t want to quit and Janice tells her that she is busy with stuff and to email her.

Back to Marnie and Ray they are walking together and see Adam and Marnie quickly pushes Ray away and both hide, they spot that Adam and Hannah are not really them but their doppelgangers. Marnie and Ray are having lunch together and we can see that they are going to get upset with each other…Ray calls her completely dumb in a spiritual sense and Marnie tells him that Ray said he was too smart for grad school. Both start yelling at each other in the middle of the restaurant in front of everyone. But then Ray tells her to please sit down and she asks why and he tells her that no one else is going to have lunch with her. She sits back down and they proceed with their lunch (I really like this pairing and can’t wait for more).

Hannah is crying in her cubicle and Joe calls her and asks what’s wrong and she mentions what happened with Janice earlier. He comforts her and tells Hannah that she can write every night or weekends. Quick scene of Shosh and Parker having sexy times and she’s telling him that he is dumb, but to pull her hair harder (Oh man hahaha). Hannah comes back from work all upset and ready to tell Adam about what happened when she sees him on the table with his head down looking upset and like he’s been crying. Hannah is concerned and asks him what happened, but he looks at her all happy saying he got a callback from the audition and is very happy. Cute little scene with the both of them and how much they care about each other. Adam is talking to Hannah about the audition, but she’s laying on the couch and sees that she is asleep on the couch and he covers her up…end of the episode.

Still enjoying the stuff we are getting with Marnie and Ray, those two are just explosive hahaha, so what did you guys think of the episode? Please share your thoughts/comments below.
