I’m just gonna let yall know that this recap ain’t gonna be shit. With the Oscars today, Looking was on the back burner and then I watched the episode and my spirit is low as hell.
-The three boys costume shopping was fun. I miss when the three of them are together.
-More scenes set in the homeless shelter please! I was cackling for like five minutes at the sass the kids were throwing at Augustin and Eddie and visa versa. Also hilarious was the “does the bottom howl at the moon?” joke. So inappropriate and factual and hilarious.
-Apparently Patrick wants to be a fun gay and his idea of being a fun gay was to dress up like Gordon Freeman. Now Patrick, you could have been any damn thing and that’s what you chose? Nobody knows who that is.
-Kevin is going to be heading to Seattle! Can’t say I’ll miss him, unlike Patrick who admitted that he would miss him.
-Dom met a dude who had 3300 tumblr followers (chile I wish I had that many!) and the “it isnt not for porn” joke slayed me
-Dorris and Malik are so cute and their drama is so trivial compared to the others. I did enjoy the Sonny and CHer costumes tho.
-Patrick just got disrespected by every-damn-body this week! First, Richie brings Brady and makes out with him around the house THEN Kevin brings Jonathan. WHAT KIND OF DISRESPECTFUL ASS SHIT DO THESE CHARACTERS THINK THEY CAN DO? You aint bout to bring no new bae to MY damn house and we have unfinished business. Not today or any day Satan.
-The PReP conversation made this the gayest Looking episode to date.
-Honestly, I’m shocked it took Patrick this long to have a breakdown of some kind. All these stressful situations would have made me curse everyone out long before he almost outed his secret relationship with Kevin. Their conversation on the porch laid me low and I actually felt bad for the two of them.
-This episode’s ending was just too much. I have never felt more alone and boo-less in my entire life than when Patrick rested his head on Dom’s ample bosom and looked at Richie. I almost cried. Poor Patrick.
I loved Patrick’s meltdown, because that moment was a long time coming for him.
