In tonight’s episode we see that some things never change when it comes to the relationships of these characters, there’s a horrible performance art show some of the gang attends and we find out that maybe Hannah and Mimi-Rose have some things in common after all…so let’s begin.

Hannah (Lena Dunham) is now working as a substitute teacher at the school we last saw her walking into at the end of last week’s episode. She’s talking to the class about the book Oedipus Rex and Hannah is telling the class that Oedipus was screwed from the moment he was born , but that he also had free will and that this book was where the whole concept of the MILF was born…that made me chuckle…good joke Lena. After her class she goes into the teacher’s lounge where she meets Fran (Jake Lacy), who teaches History. He invites Hannah for some drinks and she gladly accepts.

At the apartment Hannah is looking for an outfit to wear for her date with Fran, she’s telling Elijah (Andrew Rannells) that she felt an immediate connection to Fran and maybe she and Adam were meant to break up so they could be together, which Elijah doesn’t believe and either do I…she shows him the lizard shirt from a few seasons ago and Elijah made me laugh when he yells out WTF is that?

Fran and Hannah at having drinks and she’s telling him that she always wanted to teach but that she needs a degree for that, Fran suggests they get another round of drinks but Hannah mentions that there is an art she would like to check out. They arrive at the art show titled “Ask Me My Name” which is a performance type of show, seriously just all around bad if you ask me…so who’s art show is this you ask? Well none other than Mimi-Rose Howard, now I know why Hannah wanted to attend, oh Hannah. Marnie (Allison Williams) and Desi (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) are there and she sees Hannah and asks her why she is here and isn’t it awkward being here. Adam (Adam Driver) spots Hannah and wants to know what the heck she is doing here and asks her to leave. Hannah starts making a scene and Fran leaves because he knows that he was just being used and gets uncomfortable. Mimi-Rose (Gillian Jacobs) spots Hannah and Adam and invites Hannah to her after party saying that her ex-boyfriend Ace (Zachary Quinto, I got so happy seeing him….love him) is also going because she mentions to Adam that he is still a huge part of her life.

Hannah and Mimi-Rose ride a cab together and Adam and Ace ride another, where Ace tells him that this is pretty classic Mimi-Rose that she’s a bad girl which knows what works this proceeds to him and Adam to start arguing and Ace tells him that he wants Mimi-Rose back and that he is just a drift on the river of Mimi-Rose…and this leaves Adam pondering. In the another cab Mimi-Rose is telling Hannah that she felt that she didn’t love her show and Hannah lies saying she did…MR tells her that she didn’t get to work on her show as much as she wanted because she is writing a book. Hannah tired of hearing her talk asks the taxi driver to turn and hits an old lady crossing the street. While the police make a report of the incident, Hannah and Mimi-Rose go into a store and are buying some snacks and MR asks Hannah why she resents her and she lies again and saying that she doesn’t but that she is angry at Adam for being a coward. They proceed to a Laundromat because Hannah had to use the bathroom, and when she comes out MR asks her if she wants Adam back because Jessa mentioned that Hannah wanted him back (like really Jessa?! but I will have more words on Jessa in a bit) and that she might have him back that she would distance herself from Adam little by little that it could be a joint creative project. Hannah gets upset at this saying that she stole Adam away from her when she was in Iowa trying to get her degree and that she isn’t this creative genius but just tricking people into thinking that. Mimi-Rose is shocked with what Hannah tells her, but admits that she’s scared that this is the way people will always see her and Hannah kinda feels bad and tells her that she wasn’t talented enough and that is the reason she left Iowa and that now she will have a boring life like her mom and she doesn’t want that kind of life. Mimi-Rose understands the way Hannah is feeling and tells her they should head out to the bar and start drinking.

Jessa (Jemima Kirke) and Adam are at the bar and he’s telling her how Ace is such a psycho and that he wants to get back together with Mimi-Rose…surprised at this discovery Jessa admits to Adam that the only reason that she had set him and Mimi-Rose up was because she wanted Ace for herself (are you freaking kidding me?!!!! I was so pissed off like this is the reason you did this to your friend Hannah because she wanted another friend’s man…I just have no words honestly for Jessa at this point) she leaves saying that she will have Ace and she will be pregnant with his twins by May…at this point Adam looks completely done with everything that is happening and Hannah comes over and tells him that she really likes Mimi-Rose and that she is happy for them and that she gets why Adam would be with someone with her (again why are you lying Hannah) she leaves and goes to get a falafel sandwich and walks home alone looking miserable and that’s it end of the episode.
